Donald B. Young, J.D.
Don Young studied at the Denison University in Granville, Ohio and earned his Bachelor of Arts at the Univ. of Iowa. Attorney Young was admitted to the legal practice by the Iowa and Illinois Supreme Courts and was granted his Juris Doctorate by the Univ. of Illinois College of Law. He has been practicing law in Des Moines, Iowa since 1999.
Aside from these achievements, Atty. Young earned and was awarded the CFP as a Certified Financial Planning professional. However, he chose to continue practicing law. Other achievements include:
Don Young's practice includes but is not limited to wills, trusts, estates, estate planning, elder law, and trust and probate administration. He has been practicing in these fields for over thirty years. He served as manager for the trust division of The Rock Island Bank and Trust Company in Rock Island, Illinois and the Union Bank & Trust Company in Ottumwa, Iowa. In addition, he served as a manager for Norwest Investments Management and Trust entities throughout Iowa and eventually served as a vice-president of Investment Management and Trust in Des Moines, Iowa.
Mr. Young serves on the general practice, probate and trust, and real estate sections of the Iowa State Bar Association. In addition, he serves on the council of the Elder law Section of the Iowa State Bar Association.
Jack Rogers earned his degree at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and his Juris Doctorate at DePaul University in Chicago. He was a licensed attorney in the states of Illinois and Iowa and poured 25 years of his practice in fields such as banking, insurance, and investments.
Mr. Rogers had expertise in Trust law and administration and became a valuable member of the senior management at the Bankers Trust Company in Des Moines, Iowa. He later on went to become secretary of the board of directors and eventually the head of the Trust Department, whose assets exceeded 5 billion dollars.
Other notable achievements of Attorney Rogers:
Former president of the Iowa Trust Association, the Des Moines Estate Planning Council, and the ERISA Forum.

Graduated in the Top 10% of his class at the American Bankers Association prestigious Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware, in Newark, Delaware.
Thesis entitled "The Growing Threat of Non-Banks to Traditional Banking in the United States," was selected and kept in the libraries of the ABA library in Washington, D.C., the University of Delaware, and at Harvard University business library in Boston.
Worked at Davis Life Brokerage and Davis Financial Services Holding, Inc. as legal resource for licensed agents in the U.S. and coordinator for advance concepts programs around the country.
Attorney Young and Attorney Rogers established their law firm back in early 2004 catering to the legal needs of private persons and small businesses. Mr. Rogers passed away in August, 2004.
